Oatmeal Cookies - BIG Batch #2
This recipe is number 2 in the Big Batch series for those with big mixing machines. The reason it is number 2 is so that the mixer does not have to be cleaned from making Big Batch #1 - this is another speed tip.
- 3 cups shortening (using half butter aids the flavour)
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp soda
- 12 cups of oatmeal
Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
